Fun read. I had assumed POI was done. It was interesting to see the shifting emphasis on being a Mythic. With William's new ability to rapidly move around multiple worlds by gating through allied temples, this will give his god the equivalent of a rapidly deployable nuclear weapon. I found the part where William threatened a god as a means of emasculating his champion, particularly amusing.
Glad to hear you want go forward with Baen books - I have found those to be particularly "meaty", with more developed storylines.
