Just a tip. A lot of people try to avoid the mountain of chick flick fantasy novels these days and there are some rules they use to do that.
ReplyDeleteNumber one, any book talking about how sexy the man is.
Number two, any book that has a shirtless muscular man on the cover.
Your fic broke rule number two, so that's probably why people are hesitant about the fiction. The people who eventually did end up buying it were probably the people who liked Portals and bought it by reference.
